Mood     : Happy            Music     : "What’s Yor Flava" by Craig David

Was bummin around at home today till I got a call from Dao. Asked me to meet him at Da Curve to teman him for da afternoon. The Apartment was a cosy place to chill but I must say the serving portions were rather small. Had creamy vanilla fruity meringue for dessert.

Decided to walk around the area to search for a cool dinner shoe for Dao and we found da perfect one at Primavera for a reasonable price. thankz to da MEGA SALE!!! And of course, how can we not forget that Baskin Robbins is having their 31% offer. Bought 4 HALF GALLON worth of ice-cream which cost me RM235 which gave my mom a shocked. She thought I would buy PINT sizes. Got ourselves Chocolate Mousse, Very Berry Strawberry, Mango Sorbet and Almond Fudge!

Yummilicious :p

RUNNIN SUNDAY SERVICE FOR DA 1ST TIME :p

Mood     : Accomplished        Music     : "God Created…" by Munchkin

We did it…YAY! What an experience for da youth to run the entire service for da day. From chairing, to worship leading, to serving to usher all the way to speakin, whoa, definitely a milestone for VOICES MINISTRY.

Great job guyz. Great job. Loads of unity and spontaneous acts in between but that’s what making us grow as a group of young people.

It was rather heavy for me but no complaints. For some horrible reason, my body automatically tingle eventhough I know I ain’t nervous. I was shakin a little but my heart was beating at a normal rate. Really…really weird and i just couldn’t understand. and no ,I wasn’t cold.

Oh, another thing, I spoke really fast eventhough my mind was counciously reminding meself not to speak fast. I made initiative to slow down but then I felt awkward in the process of hearing meself. So yea, this is a rough picture of what was goin on with me physically, mentally and emotionally while i was chairing the service. Other than that, most people thought the service went rather smoothly. Timing was good as well. no long-winded story or unnessary notes.

Phew…

Mood     : Happy             Music     : "4 In Da Mornin" by Gwen Stefani

Whoa, these few dayz were dedicated to my beloved KIOS (hybrid of KIA & VIOS…dun ask). Been havin some problems with the break and da shaft makes noises when I make sharp turns.

Managed to fix my cracked windshield at a very good bargain thankz to my dad’s research homework. Tomorrow another day will be gone since we’re sendin da car for fixin. And i haven’t even mention bout servicin yet so that might be another day.

Well guess thats what we do durin holidayz huh. Get all the problems out of the way and do our personal stuff.

THAT’S A WRAP FOR ME :p

Mood    : Accomplished       Music    : "Getting To Know U" by Anna

I feel in love with the musical only because I saw the magic that was happening on stage. I saw all the different theatrical elements interacting with one another (lights, sets, sounds, costumes, actors), creating magic on stage. Was so overwhelmed by the performance.

My service with Intan Budaya has ended and I’m quite happy I was given the opportunity for this hands-on experience. Definitely learnt a lot and managed to see the REAL DEAL, the things we learn in class rite b4 my eyes.

Got to know interesting and really nice people along the way. Made a few connections and I’m lookin forward to meeting them again in future. Thankz Melissa!

THe KING & I

So I’ve been working with Intan Budaya Presentations (nope, not Istana Budaya) as Brendan Siow’s Marketing Assistant. It’s been 3 dayz and I’ve learned a lot in a flash. At first I had to do some administrative work such as issueing delivery orders and invoices as well as preparing the securty passes for the show. That’s rite, we’re working on the musical production of The King & I.

The past 3 days was to ensure all corporate tickets were issued and sent out in time. So that was really at the top of our priority list.

Today has been an amazing, cool experience because I get to work at location, yes, at Istana Budaya and I’m so…so…so glad I get to meet Melissa Teoh and some of my classmates, Bryant, Erica, Jojo and Joanne. They were helping out with wardrobe while I was so busy clearing the tickets with the last minute parents.

So tomorrow is gonna be one exciting and challenging day as it is the Gala Premier of The King & I. I’ll be at Istana from 9am -10pm overseeing things to be done and by 7pm, I’ll be all groomed and dressed to monitor the flow of guests into the Grand Circle. loads of important ppl from the media to corporate managers to ministers. Fingers crossed!

Mood     : Tired                        Music     : "The Way I Are" by Keri Gilson

Been very busy these few weeks as we are so nearing the end of our semester.

Sek Thim’s Acting + Text 1 class was completed 2 weeks ago while our Theatre Project wrapped=up it’s production last week. No more physically demanding rehearsals and acting for the remainding week.

Loads of technicality involve in the few final courses. We have Joe’s sound + Image class which will be publically aired on Friday. Pretty much did a good work with the editing. Now is just cleaning up some quirks here and there and we’re good for screening. Then there is Melissa’s Production Design class which my group is doing a film design. So there needs good editing so our presentation on Monday goes extra smooth and we’ll get our marks. And then comes Ray’s World Cinema class where we have to watch films to analyze and critic for the final exam.

Fingers crossed and I really hope everything goes well and hopefully 2 As at least to keep my cgpa on a healthy level!
