My Prerogative

Mood     : Exausted                            Music     : "Beautiful Liar" Beyonce & Shakira

This whole week is one roller-coaster ride as there is so much to be done in so little time. Basically every morning, I’ll be in college at 10ish to work on my assignments, do discussions with my team, rehearsing or catching up on my movie screenings to review/analyze. In the afternoon, classes commence usually from 2pm - 6pm. From 6pm onwards, I’ll be in the Rooftop Theatre working on our Senior’s graduating performance of Trojan Women.

Production work will usually wrap-up after 10pm. No complaints because we grow as a team in every aspect as we work on the production from design to management to basically making the production possible. Is really awesome having Melissa supervising the whole thing, eventhough she torments me verbally every 10 minutes (chuckles). No problems with that cause I’ve built immunity liao. Love her heaps!!!

Fingers crossed and lookin forward to my Redang Trip real SOON!Ooo…can’t wait!

What a special Easter Sunday. Mom actually got up extra early to make breakfast for me. Isn’t that just sweet. Luv ya…luv ya…!

Got complimentary tickets from a special someone to watch Kanye West live at Stadium Negara. Went with Dao my theatre/performance buddy. Decided to take da lrt and monorail instead, so we won’t get caught in the pre and post concert jam.

Overall it was ok. I mean…nothing really wowed me except for the live violin player infusing her instument into the heavy rap & hip hop renditions of Kanye. That is something different lar. Apart from that, I’m not a huge fan for rap kinda music so I wasn’t on my toes the entire time.

Nevertheless, I must give Kanye credit for his HITZ such a Diamonds Are Forever and GoldDigger and some other singles which I can’t remember the title. Those really got us all moving.  His energy was good.

Pan’s Labyrinth was an awesome film eventhough never really enjoyed war movie nor do I enjoy children fantasy kinda films. So yea, I’ll admit I was dragging myself to watch the show cause we had to discuss the film in class. This film was a combination of war and children fantasy and guess what…I was thrilled by the entire movie eventhough it was all in Spanish as well. I don’t have prejudice or problems with international films.

Anywayz, the show was awesome because there was this parallelism thing going on between the real world and the fantasy and it gave me so much space and time to dive into the film and start thinking and exploring on my own what was really happening in the gal’s world. Love it…love it…8.5/10!

I watched Stomp The Yard too last week but I did not mention it in my blog cause I was rather dissapointed with what it had to offer. 4.5/10!

Yeap, a very long and heavy week i’m gonna have this week cause every evening I can’t just come home and have dinner, rest and chill at home. After classes which usually ends bout 5.30/6/6.30, I’ll have to go thru da awful jam along the ldp, have my dinner, freshen up and ready for an event that begins at 8.30pm. Thats rite…every nite this week. But I can cope cause God gives me hope…cool eh?
