Mood     : Speechless           Music     : "Nothing In This World" by Paris Hilton

What happens when your mom tells you she’ll be spending time with VJ UTT from MTV at 5am - 5pm for a photoshoot session?

Well, still can handle rite? You’ll probably tell her to say HI!

BUT………………………………………………………

What if at 5pm, while you’re at college studying an old film, your mom sms you saying that VJ UTT is rite now at your HOME using the bathroom???

(speechless)……………………………………………..

Mood     : Excited    Music     : "Goes Around, Comes Around" by Justin Timberlake

Whoa, yet another milestone. This is exactly my 200th post and I definitely consider this as an achievement. There will be some changes to my postings though as i will not be posting bout me, myself and I all da time liao. Ahaha…but the ironic part is that you won’t be able to catch those postings here. This blog will remain da same BUT I’ll be posting topical stuff concerning we young people at our new R.AGE’s BLOG site. I’m now part of da weekly blogger team there so feel free to log on to www.rage.com.my weekly, and you’ll be able to find my posts under this handle: Artsy Ad

Today has been such a cool day for the people at R.AGE because we finally have our own website. Yeah…Yeah!!! Again, it is www.rage.com.my ! No need to wait at the college bench for hours liao and fight for a copy of R.AGE. Can read it off da website and if you are like me who still insist on having a hard copy of da paper, we can now subcribe to da paper liao from our various College Student Services Department. There will be loads of changes and surprises await those loyal R.AGE readers out there, so stay tune. I myself dunno what the surprises are as well.

There’s more, today they also launch the R.AGE Star Deck at Menara Star! We can now all go to the COOL and HAPPENING DECK at the lobby floor to do our work and hold special events and discussions there. So yea, it’s www.rage.com.my ! Have fun :p

So happy to see BOSS, YB Sharmila Nair, Miss Yam Phui Yee & Foxy Nasa at the office today. It is gonna sound very cheesy and hair-raising but i’m going to say it, they are like Niki’s Angels !!! Aahhaahaha…there, feel so much better now getting that out of my chest :p

AKON LIVE IN RUUMS KL!

Monday, January 15th, 2007

Mood      : Entertained                     Music      : "Smack That" by Akon

Eventhough there were no hot female dancers on stage and elaborate stage settings, the showcase at Ruums was pretty spectacular. If you think the only male singer who can shake well is Ricky Martin, wait till you see Akon live on stage. that guy can move man. Not forgetting moving to his saucy tempos and exotic beats, it was a "hot" nite to remember.

VJ Colby hosted da show this time round and his brother KC was there as well at the side of da stage. Brotherly support perhaps? Quite a number of celebrities were there at the VIP lounge like Reshmounu, DJ Ian, Jehan Miskin and some model which I forgotten her name.

Every number from Akon was just dancy and fun. Enjoyed myself although da smokers did give me a headache up there! He was amazing and unpredictable! Does all the crazy stuff on stage which some I shall not mention. Overall, he is a warm feller and engages with the audience very often! Call me on my handphone more often so I can listen to my SMACK THAT ringtone :p

SUNWAY LAGOON HASN’T CHANGE!

Friday, January 12th, 2007

Mood     : Happy                                        Music     : "Tokyo Drift" by Teriyaki Boys

Made a trip to Sunway Lagoon today with Jessica, Daniel, Jacqueline, Kenneth, Katerina and a special guest, Tang Mun Wai. Overall I would say it was a fun-filled trip although da stair climbing was rather harsh on our legs. My top 5 favourite rides would be da Flum Ride, Gold Mine Roller Coaster, da "Lumba Kuda" Body Slide, River Rapids Ride and Lazy River.

Da heavy strong and cooling waterfall was a good massage session for me. Love it to da max. Came out feeling so refreshed although I must say da occasional rain did get to me for a while. I thought 4 hours was just nice for me. still, kinda dissapointed tak cukup masa to cath da 360 degree ride thingy.

Went to Pyramid for dinner and we were starving. Made da decision to have Sushi King for dinner. i think we ate a lot. so much that we were in sleepy mode by then. Wanted to play bowling but the lanes were full to da max and we were told to wait till 10pm. Dah tak boleh tahan…so decided to call it a day!

“BETRAYAL” BY HAROLD PINTER

Friday, January 5th, 2007

Mood     : Fulfilled                           Music     : "Unfaithful" by Rihanna

The very 1st time I watched a play written by Harold Pinter, I came out feeling disgusted and almost wanted to puke. Of course, that happened when I was just a hatchling in the performing arts scene. I told myself, no way I’m watching another play written by that sick feller. That play was called "Homecoming"

Guess what? Today I BETRAYED my self-ego and went for another of his play called BETRAYAL! Ironic isn’t it? Few reasons I went for da play and I did not know what to expect from the show. All I know was, James Lee (might be my future lecturer) is directing da play and Bernice Chauly (also might be my future lecturer) is acting in da play. Of course, a special invitation by a very good old fren, Vernon, he is in da play as well.

So yea, to be honest, I really did enjoy da play. This is one play where you get loads of dialogues and details and dialogues and details str8 from da actor’s mouth. USUALLY, I get pening kepala and bored easily with plays like these. BUT not with this one. I was keen and drawn to every word that was coming out of the actor. I was getting an exceptional vibe from the way the actors deliver their lines and that made the difference. although, there was an occasional information overload sessions for me.

Watching Vernon on da floor was such a cool experience. Learned a lot from him. Gonna take me years to reach his level of expertise. And gosh, Bernice was full of attitude man. Also, wat an eye candy! These people are so calm and steady on stage man. Crazee…almost inhuman. All hats down to this two very power actors. This is my 3rd time watching Ari Ratos on stage and all I can say is…give me something new man!!!

I really think James did a good job with the piece. Love da way the story was delivered to us. Pretty sure his eye for details and technical knowledge made the story fun to watch. All hats down for you too.

As I was in da car recalling the story sequence, I realized it is 10Xs more interesting and fun to have da story told backwards than forward. Love da concept and the ending, gosh…so heart-warming and touching with the lcd picture display! It was da perfect ending. I felt dat Charlotte was da underlying theme of da show. she wrapped the show up! 8.5/10 ! Ok, da smoke and delay from prop changes just caused da show 0.5 marks! Aahahha…:p

SPENT RM600 IN 3 HOURS! ARGH…

Mood     : Shocked                  Music     : "My Love" by Justin Timberlake

The last thing I remembered doing was taking a hot shower. After that, everything else seemed fuzzy. Next thing I know, I was in my room holding chunks of plastic bags. Went thru da resits and it totalled up to RM587! All in 1UTAMA. I think I was in a trance or something…ahahaha…! Come to think of it, i recalled walking towards da ATM machine and pressing some numbers. Pretty sure I was unconcious at dat time…

Anywayz, these were da items I found in da bags:
- 2 pairs of Levi Jeans (Redloop 505 & Strauss 523) - fits perfectly!
- 1 black and 1 white belt from ROMP
- A can of SPAM
- A box of Beard Papa’s Cream Puff (3 chocolate & 2 Vanilla)
- A piece of RM30 Hotlink Top-Up resit

I thought that was all. Went to da mirror and realize I had a hair cut as well. I remember seeing Nicole’s face, my regular stylist so I guessed I must have walked into Dry Cut as well. Mommy is so gonna freak out when she finds out what happen today. (chuckles)
