Mood     : Bored                                Music     : "Listen" by Beyonce Knowles

At first I thought there was a problem with my small little tiny home’s connection to the internet. Din’t realize it was a macro problem on a massive scale. Earthquake near Taiwan caused underground cables to putus and may bring about tsunami here and there. Oh my goodness…

Thanks to Sharmila for giving me da call and informing me bout da problem. Couldn’t do much today with da very slow and limited connection. Din’t have any place to go or anything to shop for. So I basically sat and rot at home munching food. Got pray for da massive problem as well lar. Hopefully, nothing terrible going to happen with mother nature…

DANCE - SPA - MOVIE - DVD

Mood     : Accomplished                            Music     : "London Bridge" by Fergie

Whoa, what a fun-filled and energizing day it was. Started off with dance rehersal with Yvette. That gave our body good work out session in da morning.

Went home and decided that I wanted to pamper myself for the coming new year. Happily booked a slot at Royale Bintang Spa for their signature package that lasted for 3 hours. Mom did her usual stuff and even got some hair steaming treatment. While waiting for mom’s hair to finish, I went for window shoppin which ended up got me Fergie’s latest album, The Dutchess. Got it at a bargain. Was supposed to be RM 43.90 but I complained that other recent cds are all on sale. The owner, happily sold me da cd at RM40. Was at Da Curve from 2-6ish

We had to be at 1Utama by 7.30pm cause me and mom made a date to watch Curse Of the Golden Flower. Been anticipating for this Zhang Zi Mou’s movie for a month now. Da show was elaborate, majectic and powerful. Kinda sad story really and does tell a story bout the human condition and families. Kesianlar…shall not give out valueble info. 8.5/10 points for da show. Love it. Gong Li rocks.

Came home around 10.45pm cause mom had to do some last minute Christmas Shoppin. Managed to nail one down. 3 more pressies to go for her. We watched two dvds which we missed out at the cinemas. Just My Luck with Lindsay Lohan and the cutest most movie ever, Happy Feet. Called it a day at 2am.

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING WAS A SUCCESS ! :p

Mood     : Accomplished                    Music     : "Listen" by Beyonce Knowles

Was at Uncle Stephen’s house today providing some "man-power" moving the house around to make way for a new floor. Was there from 3-5. Since I was at Sri Damansara, thought I might as well push my christmas shopping plan with Joey to today.

So we were there at 6. Had to have a heavy dinner cause I was so extremely hungry. Belanja Joey a treat at TGIF that got our tummy bloated like crazeee, We took da 3 course meal each. That means, 2 appetizers, 2 main course and yes, 2 desserts (BUUURRRP)…

We walked from New Wing to Old Wing and thankz to Joey’s great planning skills, from Old Wing walked back to New Wing. All in all, we were there shopping for our friends and families for 4 strong hours.

We only visited those cool, interesting and innovative shops. Managed to shop within budget and it was a miracle we had some money left to buy things for ourselves. Aahahaha…Gosh, never knew shopping can be so fun because we really saw things that just got us hooked to those items. A lot of it, though does not cater for our ages, well my age at least, did get me standing there for minutes just playing with it. Definitely a fulfilling Christmas Shoppin session cause we managed to get pressies for our lists of friends and stayed within budget.

THANKS MOM…

Mood     : Happy                                    Music    : "My Love" by Justin Timberlake

Mom just got back from Bangkok this evening and she was on a major shopping spree. Things were so cheap there and da best part was she had me in mind when she was shopping. Got me limited edition DKNY Bedelicious Apple collection. Green for him and Red for her. Will be smelling like a green apple from now on.

Got me also this foldable triangular Thai resting mat which was really authentic. Can now lie down on it like a king while watching TV. Pretty comfy. And of course, any South East Asian travelling is not complete if you dun get those beaded accessories and airport duty free chocolates. Urgh..is gonna be a heaty month for me…

THE ARK OF NOAH…

Mood     : Relieved          Music     : "All Creation Cries To You" by Bamboo River Band

Phew…after all the weeks of short rehersals and quick chereographies and spontaneous improvisations, the day finally came where everybody gave their best shot. Everybody’s individual timing were hanging at the edge of the cliff. It had to be perfect or else…

There were a few technical glitches and some back stage havoc when it came to scene changes but I’m so glad I can look back now and laugh at the drama that happened during the scene changes. Curtains were close of course when the drama took place.

No wonder I enjoy working in production for theatre eventhough it can be really taxing for the essemble. Tomorrow will be so much better since everybody tasted the importance of being alert and focus on their respective jobs and roles. Thank you Lord for this wonderful and amazing experience. Will treasure it for times to come :p

Got meself two pair of clothings from AX with good discounts. Thank you so…so much VANESSA & MOMMY for being so helpful with all the feedbacks and recommendations.

ICE SKATING @ PYRAMID

Tuesday, December 5th, 2006

Mood     : Tired                           Music     : "All Good Things" by Nelly Furtado

Brought Aunty Michelle, Kenneth, Krystal and Katerina to pyramid for lunch and ice-skating today. Had Sushi King for lunch. Supposed to be one light meal, ended up because everybody wanted to try different stuff, it became a heavy lunch.

Da entry fee for skating today was horrible. Because of the school holidayz, each of us had to pay RM19 per entry and 5 bucks for gloves. We skated for 2 hours and then our feet couldn’t take it anymore. I had fun. Oh, this is still my guiness record. 5th time skating and still haven’t fall on my bum YET !!! I think I looked rather stiff on da ice cause I was so concern bout balancing and sliding until I cant let my body loose for a while. I mean, i did make efforts to release of course but then I’ll somehow loose my balance along da way…

THE RED KEBAYA!

Friday, December 1st, 2006

Mood     : Lousy                                            Music     : "Call On Me" by Janet Jackson

The show was rather slow moving although it had it’s funny moments. It’s so cool to see two of our very own Performing Arts + Media lecturers doing their thing in the show, Zahim Albakri & Jo Kukathas.

The storyline and concept of the movie is good. It gets your attention in the 1st quarter of the movie but when it went towards the middle, I began to yawn cause I was waiting for the story to unfold faster. The ending was definitely dramatic which got some of us stunned but it ended rather abruptly. There were other amazing cast members as well including Patric Teoh, Paula Malai Ali and Elaine Daly. Come to think of it, all of them has theatre background.

Can be better lar. Giving it 6.5/10!
