Mood     : Inspired                                     Music     : "Slave 4 U" by Britney Spears

Hmm, now the government is also reading our blogs. Of course, if we say da "wrong" things, we will get reprimanded! Well, good news guyz, I’m talking bout "good" things here…will I get rewarded?

Anywayz, I sincerely hope Malaysians…well KL & PJ folks to be precise,  will learn to appreciate arts n culture. For now, I would like to narrow it down specifically to our performing arts scene. Dun just take my word for it but just visit KLPAC, Actor’s Studio or Istana Budaya one of these dayz and watch some of the plays there. Is absolutely amazing how far we have gone forward. Having said that, is also quite wasted that so many, and I really mean many people out there don’t realize this.

Going to the cinemas is like a hobby BUT going to the theatre is really a LIFESTYLE. Yea, not many people know how to enjoy this lifestyle simply because they don’t bother to try it out. In my opinion, city folks are thinking people. We love to think and reflect every now and then and engage in intellectual conversations. One of the best way to do so is by going to theatres. It gets your mind working and whether you like it or not, theatre does reflect YOU like a mirror.

Theatre people addresses many issues of our world today and about society. Sure, sure you read bout those things in the paper and watch it in CNN…but you’ll get them raw by watching a play. You get them from different angles and perspectives. Isn’t variety the spice of life?

It is a way of seeing. Broaden your horizons and chill with your buddies by going for a play…It will definitely change your mindset bout many things…especially yourself!

Let’s begin with SATURDAY! Got up around 10 something for Prayer Fortress at Banner Of Love. Was there till 1.30pm. Mom suggested we go to StarHill Gallery, Bukit Bintang to savour one of the famous Japanese Cruisine in town which serves the freshest delicasies, since Aunty Mona and Hiroshi will be flying home to Osaka today.

Da name of da restraunt is called Jogoya, which means "where da King dines". You can find it at the RELISH FLOOR!. In case you din’t know, StarHill Gallery does not label each floor by numbers. Instead, they have individual names for them. So yea, Jogoya is a buffet 260820060181
restraunt. What intrigued me most about Jogoya was da design. Da place is huge and da corridor is designed to depict a very busy Tokyo MARKETPLACE. Did you watch Memoirs Of A Geisha? Thats how da restraunt looks like inside, a conjested marketplace. Da corridors are a little narrow, da music creates hype and people walking up…down…left…right adds to the busy atmosphere. No worries, it sounds packed but because da place is so huge, you won’t get traffic jams or long queues.

Da food were absolutely scrumptious. They are very generous with the rare stuff. Fresh oysters a plenty and even raw scallops too. They have snails and crabs and other high-cholesterol sea creatures for your eating pleasure. Of course, raw fishes are everywhere and if you get bored eating them, they have indian and western cuisines as well. Fresh fruit juice and ice-blended juices are flowing unlimited. There are a wide variety of desserts which spoils you with choices.

SUNDAY! Church ended around 1pm today. We went for lunch and headed str8 for TESCO to stock up our fridge for da week. Came home around 3.30pm for an hour rest cause we had an appointment at 5pm. Yeap, mommy and me went for a 3 hour long spa treatement today at Royale Bintang Hotel. Our package was the ultimate ROYALE SIGNATURE. It includes, tongkat ali body scrub, yogurt splash bath, herbal steam bath, ear waxing (damn cool), aromatherapy body massage and facial! Feeling so rejuvenated and fresh right now.

It was a great weekend!

Of course I’m happy to get back into the studio and learn bout everything there is to know about performing arts. After all, it is one of my passion in life. Is just that, I do miss working with The Star as well…you know, going into the refrigerated office, sitting next to my wacky buddies…err…I mean sistas under the watchful eyes of our editor…Niki Cheong…handing in articles after articles to Melody b4 dateline. Sounds like a boring routine but actually, is really FUN.

The people there gave me one of da best time in my life. I learnt a lot and boy I did change as well. Never knew I can read and write so much. Pretty much a self-discovery thingy happening for me. Yea, I still get to contrbute to the paper weekly but things will never be da same again. Wish my home pc is connected to The Star mainframe…ahaha…then can start "atext" everybody at work again from home. Urgh…gonna miss you guyz heaps !

JUST DA TWO OF US !

Mood     : Relaxed                                    Music    : "London Bridge" by Fergie

That’s right! Just the TWO OF US was a hillarious comedy…well FARCE actually. I had fun watching Joanna Bessey and Rashid Salleh on stage. Ari Ratos was ok cause he kinda played da same character like Fastest Clock In The Universe, only less neurotic. Din’t really relate myself to da first scene cause it was about a married couple trying to enjoy a holiday with a baby crying to da max.

The second scene "Chinamen" was absolutely hillarious. Bottom line, we have TWO actors playing FIVE DIFFERENT characters. Now that needs skill. All hats down to Joanna and Rashid. Incidentally, it was just the TWO OF US at the Actor’s Studio Bangsar, Dao came with me. Think it has become our thing to watch plays together. Dun even start on the "gay thingy"… It’s great being a student, get to watch it for half price. I went straight after work but da comedy was so hillarious, I wasn’t even exausted at all…

TERRIBLE DAY FOR ME !!!

Mood     : Dissapointed                            Music     : "Unfaithful" by Rihanna

Hmm…work load is fine. no complaints. Managed to submit my work in time. Got most of da information needed although din’t meet target. What was upsetting and dissapointing was I look like a fool in front of my editor. Yes, I know some of my frens call me sotong but that is ok when I’m outside. I really do my work and do well to be focus whenever I’m working. So yea, that din’t really work for me in today’s meeting. My math was all over da place and I kinda mess up in da tabulation process.

Geram to da max…He wanted a gun to shoot himself. I wanted to canon to blast myself out of da room. ARGH…!!!

NOKIA 3250 & NOKIA 6131

Mood     : Happy                  Music     : "I Wil Still Love You" by Britney Spears & Don Phillips

Mom had to get a phone terribly cause it really K.O for good liao. Boss already gave her lecture bout da problem and she decided to finally get a phone for herself. So yea, we went to 1 Utama and march straight into a Nokia dealer cause we are huge fans of Nokia. Was there bout half an hour browsing thru and asking questions bout some of da models that caught our eyes and finally, we narrowed down to the ones we like. Yea, it was suppose to be her day BUT since we could get cheaper discounts if we buy TWO, mom was pretty generous to get one for me as well.

So yea, nothing really trill me cause some were either too big and bulky or had too much feature which I don’t need or simply just expensive. And of course, I wanted something YOUNG & FUNKY so I got da NOKIA 3250 twist phone. Twist for camera, twist for music ! Kinda like it a lot although I din’t get da colour I want.

Saturday was definitely a full day for me. Yet, it was also one of the best experience I have ever felt. I was at the office from 10am - 12am for a very long shoot. Can’t give much details bout da shoot though since there is an embargo place on it. I was there as an observer and also an actor. Anywayz, what was really cool is that I got to spend time chatting and knowing Bernie Chan and Cheryl Samad between set changes. Bernie was really helpful in sharing her experience as an actress while Cheryl was really friendly to chat with. Dao was with me as well but he stayed till 6pm cause it was too long and tiring. I could not leave early cause I’m needed in a number of scenes.

Gotta thank my editor for sending me on this mission and also da director for casting me in this project. Definitely a day to remember.
