AN ACTRESS & A DIRECTOR FRIEND

I had my very first interview session today. Not one-on-one, but one-on-TWO. Would like to thank my editor for sending me out for this trip. Although it was nerve-wrecking at first, I realize that interviewing helps with your communication skills and allows you to meet ppl you probably will never get to know. I prepared myself from every angle because I did not want to risk looking like a sotong and come back with crappy information or worst, come back with nothing.
Talking to get more info is one thing. Asking da right questions is another. Hearing tentitively of course is a must. But what happens if you are required to ask, talk, hear and WRITE at da same time. And cammon, is not like they will purposely speak very slowly and keep coming back to me and repeating their answers rite ? That was what got me nervous at first cause I made sure non of that happen.
Of course I learnt something out of this. DUH…dun have to write every word wan, write those important points only. And BE with the person you’re interviewing, take interest and let it be casual and natural rather than making it prim and proper like robots. Glad, it went well. So yea, who did I interviewed ? Sharifah Amani (Orkid from "Sepet" & "Gubra") and young director Kelvin Wong, who was my ex-employer when I worked with The Oral Stage as their publicist early this year.
