BREADY BRUNCH !!! :p

Friday, December 30th, 2005

Mood     : Fulfilling                                    Music     : "Check On It" by Beyonce Knowles

Started da day by 12pm this afternoon. Mom suggested we go to MODESTO’S for a hearty brunch. Drove all da way to Hartamas and there we were browsing their menu. So why is da title of this blog called "BREADY BRUNCH" ??? Cause everything I shove into my mouth were all BREAD kinda food. Started with their famous thin & crispy BREAD that goes with olive oil and balsamic vineger. Then I had this really thin-crust salty anchovies PIZZA with tomato and chillies. They kinda screwed up my mom’s order so she had to wait for quite a while. In return, da restraunt served us complimentary starter. Guess what ??? Garlic BREAD topped with tomato cubes and herbs !!!

Went home and rest for a while b4 we decided to pop-by MID VALLEY for a time of shopping. MNG had 70% clearance sale so my mom needed to go and see. Ended up da place was in such a mess so we hop into ZARA which was just opposite. Neh, their sale was as good as no sale !!! Oh, b4 that we went to NANDO’S to try out their so called "FLAMING HOT" peri-peri (chilli) chicken !!! Was quite ok cause I really like how they marinate da chicken to perfection. And ooo…DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES SEASON 1 DVD is out already. Da complete set cost RM159 !!! Too espensive but was sooo…tempted to get it !!! URGH -_-"

Is da 30th today and BASKIN ROBBINS were having their famous month-end promotion thingy. A RM36 tub cost only RM25 so we decided to get our favourites. I got meself chocolate chocolate chips while mommy chose very berry strawberry !!! Time to indulge once again !!! Got home around 10.45 and here I am updating my blog !!! Pretty interesting day.

“THE PROMISE” WAS INTERESTING !!!

Mood     : Captivated                                    Music     : "Push The Button" by Sugababes

Yeap, this show got some bad reviews from da newspaper critiques and they are all entitled to their opinions. I personally think it was an entertaining show. Give it a 7.5/10 points. For starters, the scenaries were captivating although I have a feeling most of it were computer generated. Kinda too good to be true.

Cecilia Chung and Nicholes Tse pretty much impress me in this production. She can be seductive and gentle at da same time wherelse he can be really convincingly nasty yet cool. This show can be hillarious at times and can also be quite intense whenever they dive deeper into the characters. Oh, have some good moral values in it and revolves around the theme of one’s destiny !!! And yes, is really about THE PROMISE !!! What promise ??? Go watch it and find out !!! All I can say is that each of da main characters…the princess…the general…the slave and the duke all received or made a PROMISE as the story goes along !!! :p

CHRISTMAS DINNER AT YVELYN’S WAS A SMASH :p

Monday, December 26th, 2005

Mood     : Happy                                        Music    : "O HOLY NIGHT" by Yvelyn Tang

Ooo…this really feels like da holiday season. Wasted no SNOW here in KL. Is a great combination when you put FOOD…FUN & PEOPLE all together in one roof !!! We got fantastic food, wonderful Christmas carol and close GILA FRENS gathered at Yvelyn’s house for a time of sharing and caring !!! Truly a smashing christmas party !!! There were much work to do in preparation for da dinner but it was fun nevertheless. I finally learnt how to make mash potatoes AND beat egg-white tll it becomes cream. Tiring but so much FUN !!!

WE had pot bless so every representatives from every satelite churches were suppose to bring some food. We had TOM YAM BEE HOON (BEST IN DA WORLD), ROASTED DUCK (OOOOOO)…SPAGHETTI, ROASTED LAMB & TURKEY…HONEY SLAB HAMS and MERINGUE + MASH POTATOES ( I helped out in those two) !!! Soft drinks were a plenty. Oh, then there were gift exchange session at the end of da day.

So what did we do in between ??? We had a good time of catching up and chit chatting b4 we moved into a time of FUN-FILLED GAMES !!! Yeap, I was da games champion this time round. Started of with da HI-BYE GAME as an ice-breaker. Then we moved into intense gazing and staring session in da KILLER game. BEST PART of da killer game ??? Two pretty civilians commited domestic murder. They are non other than our FLAMBOYANT DEBBIE CHE and SASSY ADELINE !!!

And our closing game. A time for CHARADES using pictionary cards. Wow…action do speak louder than words. We had such a great time laugfing. Our STAR for da nite…EDDIE GOH HWA YANG…trying to communicate da word COBRA to his team. We had dinosaur…dragon…earthworm…lochnest monster…serpent…rabbit…all shouted out instead of da COBRA. Just sit down for a while and imagine what EDDIE did…AHAHAHA…:p

8TH WONDER OF DA WORLD…KING KONG :p

Mood     : Inspired                                    Music     : "Hung Up" by Madonna

Wow…da film industry is really revolutionizing the use of technology to enrich our movie-going experience. I really wanna give Peter Jackson TWO THUMBS UP for doing such an amazing job with KONG. Pretty much filled with non-stop action and adventure. Well, mostly on da island lar !!! I would rate da movie 8/10 points. One mark lost cause it was pretty long (3 hours). Another mark lost cause well I cant possible give a perfect score…ahahahah :p

Kong_1So yea, I was glad Adrian Broody was casted in da show cause he really made all da ADRIANS around proud. Well, nolar…actually he potrayed da character really well. To be honest, da casting was perfectly done. From da main casts to da supporting casts to da extraz…gosh…you gotta see da movie to understand what I mean. Everybody acted really well. I learnt a lot from da main cast when it comes to just using your pretty eyes to do da talking. Now that is really cool. Well for da extraz and supporting roles…without you guyz, da movie would be quite plain. Do observe how those sakais act. Giler siut !!! :p

Kong_2And for everyone who was part of da production…you guyz ROCK. Gosh, I can imagine all da crazee work loads involved in putting this movie together. Kinda felt pity for Naomi Watts and the others that had to be thrown left and right and fall off here and there non-stop. Kesiannya…can imagine all da bruises they gonna get. Thank God for make up. Really helps. And for computer generated graphics…Broadway Street and New York looked soooooooo beautiful !!!

Gosh…when lar will this Adrian be ever casted in this kinda movie ??? Finger’s crossed. Hopefully there are some Hollywood directors or casting agents out there that are so freakin bored rite now they decided to read my blog !!! AS IF………………………………………..!!!

MY GROWN UP CHRISTMAS LIST TO GOD !!!

Saturday, December 17th, 2005

Mood     : Inspired           Music     : "My Grown Up Christmas List" by Kelly Clarkson

Do you remember me ?
I sat upon your knee,
I came to you with CHILDHOOD FANTASIES,
Well I’m all GROWN UP now,
And still NEED HELP somehow,
I’m not a child but my HEART still can DREAM.

So here’s my lifelong wish,
My grown up CHRISTMAS LIST,
Not for myself, but for a WORLD IN NEED.

No more LIVES TORN APART,
That WARS will never start,
And time will HEAL all HEARTS,
And everyone will have a FRIEND,
And RIGHT would always WIN,
And LOVE would NEVER END,
This is MY GROWN UP CHRISTMAS LIST.

As children we believe,
The grandest sight to see,
Was something lovely wrapped beneath the tree,
But HEAVEN only knows,
That packages and bows,
Can never heal a HEARTACHED HUMAN SOUL.

What is this illusion called the innosence of youth?
Maybe only in our blind belief can we ever find the TRUTH.

No more LIVES TORN APART,
That WARS would never start,
And time would HEAL all HEARTS,
And everyone would have a FRIEND,
And RIGHT would alwayz WIN,
And LOVE would NEVER END,
This is MY GROWN UP CHRISTMAS LIST !

MAHJONG IS INTENSE!!! WARCRAFT IS CHALLENGING !!!

Mood     : Challenged    Music     : "Me Against The Music (Justice Remix) by Britney

Thankz Shu Hui for being so patient with me teaching me how to play MAHJONG. Is pretty sad to know how serious my chinese illiteracy actually is. I’ll probably still need da piece of paper by my side to identify da "COMPASS" and da "NUMBERS" !!! Really had fun though working that brain of mine thinking what should da next move be and all. Hopefully by Chinese New Year I would be able to master it and bully my relatives…muahahaha…!!!

Then there is Warcraft BATTLE.NET !!! I know I’m pretty outdated and all knowing this game have been around since years ago. So yea, started da game not too long ago and I din’t know it is so much fun battling other people around Malaysia. Still learning which heroes suit me best and what weapons to forge that best suit da hero. Apart from that, I’m a huge fan of strategy games so it isn’t that hard to find my way around !!!

Today, da weather was so cloudy and nice to sleep in but Adrian decided to wake up at 7.45am to play basketball with his crazee frens. Scored at least one time today. Then it drizzled heavily and we were still on da court trying to beat each other.

Mood     : Proud                                 Music     : "And Then We Kiss" by Britney Spears

First and foremost, thank you ADELINE and ZACH (Kah Leong) for your support and motivation. Wouldn’t have da guts to enter PATHLAB without you two by my side. Thankz for da RM50 voucher as well. So I took da general test (43 tests) and will be waiting for da results to come out on Monday. So excited. It felt like an ant bite and b4 you know it, it was done. Da lady was really nice and supportive as well. Quite an accomplishment for da day. One thing for certain, it is far much better than havin a LEECH stuck in your skin an wouldn’t come out. URGH !!!

FAITH WORKS ROCKZ !!!

Sunday, December 11th, 2005

Mood     : Sick                                                Music     : "Someday" by Britney Spears

Faith_works_camp_001I really enjoyed myself in PEACEHAVEN. Kenneth & Sandra Chin really gave us loads of GEMS regarding FAITH. I was in charge of photography, ice breaker and played my role as games marshall. Oh, not forgetting I was da DORM LEADER too for PICO DE ORIZABA. Was it over-whelming ??? Not at all. I had a great time serving da Lord. Just din’t have good rest thats all cause da weather up there was freakin cold. Got sick on da 4th day. Got to meet new frens as well. It was one smashing camp. Had a surprise performance from da pastors too. Now that was a HIT !!!

Was blessed with a SPEEDY VOUCHER worth RM40 from Citibank so I made my mom drive me to IKANO Powercenter to get B IN THE MIX ALBUM from Britney…THE REMIXES. As I’m typing this blog, I’m actually listening to da cd. Pretty cool some of da remixes !!! :P
